Swatch and Sketch Session-Replay

Hello sketchers!

We gathered together for our second Swatch and Sketch session on Thursday 17th October 2-3pm BST for an hour of swatching and playing in our sketchbooks. The replay is below.

Use the time to try out some new materials, catch up on an art challenge or just hang out with others and sketch.

I’m planning to try out some Nature Coloured Stabilo Boss Markers which were introduced to us during the last session by Hessa and I also plan to work on some art prompts.

Below is my very garish sketchbook page I started swatching the last time we met and finished a few days after with the new-to me Sharpie Creative markers.

I added some notes and ideas as to what I could use them for- it was fun to just play without planning or overthinking.

Below are some of the sketches and swatches that were created in our last session. Thanks everyone who shared them over on our chat.

You are also welcome to share what you are doing as we go or if you prefer to sit quietly and get on with your own thing then that’s fine too! We will aim to finish promptly at 3pm.
