she is Irish but grew up in France, and now dwells in South Yorkshire with her husband and 3 boys
connected with Mel earlier this year and they sketched together at the end of July when Helen’s family were on holiday in Cornwall-below is a short video of our time sketching together

she’s just launched a club on Substack called The Time Foragers’ club-inspired by the attic spaces in Little Women and offers a range of creative zoom sessions and prompts each month

Bring along a sketchbook or two and/or lots of loose paper
Bring a range of mediums you feel comfortable using or go wild and try some materials you haven’t before!
We’ll be sharing a range of photos from Victorian Gardens and encourage you to use this session as a warm-up/play session.
We will be guiding you through a number of drawing exercises that will be timed and chatting as we go so it should be a fun, energetic and informal time to sketch together. The pace will be varied, containing both fast and slow drawing exercises.
The session will last around 90 minutes and there will be opportunity to share your pages at the end if you want to.
Make sure you have a zoom account (you can join for free) and it has been downloaded on your devices and then you can join us live on Friday.
If you can’t join live you will still be able to access the recording later once it has been uploaded. You will find it on this post at the bottom along with reference photos after the event has happened.
