I’m excited to announce I’ll be running a couple of in-person Autumn workshops this October at Coast, Colour, Canvas Gallery, Roskilly Farm.

The first one I’ll be running myself and then the second will be a joint workshop with illustrator

Lizard Landscape Concertina Sketchbook | Art Workshop

MONDAY 7th October 2-4pm

Cost: £25

Join me for a 2 hr workshop to create a landscape based mixed-media concertina sketchbook.

I will show you how to create a one-page concertina sketchbook, paint with inks and then work from photo refs from around the Lizard peninsula to create textural spreads filled with life.

I will share with you how I work on location with a range of mix-media and share examples from my sketchbooks.

You'll go home with a handmade sketchbook with space to continue your exploration.

Farm Sketchwalk, mixed media and collage | Art Workshop

FRIDAY 11th October 9.45-12.45pm

Cost: £35

Join myself and

Kriksis

for a 3 hr creative workshop that will include both outside and inside working.

In the first half I will take you on a sketch walk around the area and farm to sketch and find reference imagery. I will share tips and advice for quickly capturing what you see.

Then back in the gallery we’ll both help you create an image inspired by your time outside, working with mixed media, collage, watercolour and colour palettes to create a fun textural final piece.

Nature Inspired Exhibition

If you can’t make it to the workshops come and visit the gallery from Saturday 5th October-Friday 11th October 11-4pm to see our work.

We’ll be exhibiting original drawings, illustrations and selling calendars, greetings cards, zines, prints, stickers and books. Perfect to find gifts for special occasions or the upcoming festive period!

Roskilly's Farm does have a cafe and eatery on site should you wish to get lunch before or after and make a day of it. Free onsite parking and toilets also available.
