It is done!!

As I mentioned at the end of my last post there would be a special sketchbook related announcement and this is it.

Drumroll please….

My 2024 calendar is now ready and available for your pre-orders! Hurray!

My little scanner can breathe a sigh of relief after scanning almost 100 sketches.

If you’ve bought my previous 2 calendars you’ll notice a little change for this year.

My 2023 Sketch Calendar

Instead of sharing one image per month I’ve decided to go all out and scan all my sketches from the last year and bring them together for my 2024 Calendar. The idea came as I was starting to work on new pieces and thought rather than re-create sketches or drawing from my original sketches why not just use the sketches I’ve been drawing all year round.

Not only does it mean that you get to see inside my sketchbooks and what I actually produce each month but I’ve also included seasonal colour palettes and prompts so if you feel inclined or want a gentle creative push then these are there to use if you wish.

Here are the details:

• The format of the calendar will remain the same as previous years -landscape with image at the top and calendar below- opens up to A3 portrait, spiral bound, with a handy hole to help you hang.

• The days read Monday-Sunday with the weekend days being together.

• The inside paper 170gsm is uncoated so you can easily write your events and appointments and thick enough to not bleed through.

• The cover will be printed on 250gsm paper and will be laminated.

• Each month will have an inspiring selection of sketches, 4 prompts and colour palettes I’ve used.
