A closer look

Dear Reader,

Please find another month of pages from the inside of my sketchbook. April drawing weather has been a mix of rain showers, high winds and occasional sunny days. I’ve continued to enjoy using pre-painted pages to capture the scene, I find it gives a little extra to the mood and movement of the landscape. As usual, these are all sketched on location from direct observation and vary from 20 mins to 40 mins. I enjoy using a mix of materials- ink, watercolour, brush pens, inktense pencils, luminance, fountain pen and Neocolor IIs.
