I’m delighted to announce that my Where the Wildflowers Grow sketching and illustration online course is now open!

After 9 months of creation, from concept to reality, it’s finally here and I’m so excited to take you on this wildflower sketching adventure.

What can you expect?

I’ll take you on 3 sketch walks where we’ll explore 3 different habitats around the Lizard peninsula. You’ll have an over the shoulder look at what I’m doing and I’ll share simple ways to capture flowers on location and the methods I use to help identify and remember their names.

Back in the studio we’ll dive into colour and I’ll show you how I mix and blend my materials.

And in our final project we’ll create a beautiful illustrated spread that displays our wildflower finds.

On this course you’ll:

• Discover the wildflowers growing on the Lizard peninsula in Cornwall

• Explore the different habitats they grow in and learn the names of over 100 flowers

• Learn ways to capture wildflowers (without picking them) with a mix of mediums in a variety of styles

• You’ll explore 3 different habits with me- woodland, hedgerows, and along the coastal path

• Dive into colour and learn how to mix using a limited colour palette

• Enjoy the versatility of mixed media and how to create in layers

• Experiment, play, have fun in the process

• Fill your sketchbooks with fresh creative spreads
