Hello readers,
As this will be my last post before Christmas I thought I’d share a Festive themed Process and Play video.
This is a nice follow up to our December draw-along meeting where we drew winter wreaths together but this time I will share a more detailed video on how I approach and illustrate this subject.
Welcome to my series called PROCESS & PLAY.
Each session I take a closer look at a sketchbook PROCESS, chat through what I’m doing and then invite you to join me to PLAY in your sketchbook.
The format will vary slightly from my usual setup as I won’t be sharing pages from my sketchbooks but instead will be inviting you to design and create a festive page spread with me.
We’ll split the page into 3 with a section focused on the individual elements that make up a wreath, a garland page divider and then I’ll share 3 wreaths created in 3 different ways.
You can decide whether to follow along closely or just use this as a springboard to do your own thing. Alternatively just grab a hot drink, sit back and enjoy the video.
Hopefully you’ll find it enjoyable and perhaps it will inspire you to capture all the decorations you have around you during this winter time.
