Join us live
Here are the details if you’d like to join in the drawing date:
Upgrade to paid on my substack for the month (you’ll also get access to all my paid posts for the month) alternatively you can join Helen’s substack to gain access
Tune in on Friday 1pm GMT on Zoom via the LUMA link below
The link is below and you’ll be able to access it once paid
Bring along a ready folded piece of paper- watercolour or thick enough to support a range of mediums. Any size is fine, there are plenty ways of making them if you search YouTube but a simple watercolour sheet cut in half (length-way), then folded up can work really well.
Bring along any additional woodland reference imagery- perhaps you have some books with animals, plants, birds, mushrooms
Bring a range of mediums you feel comfortable using or go wild and try some materials you haven’t before!
We’ll be sharing a range of woodland inspired photos which will hopefully inspire you in your concertina card making. We’ll be chatting as we go and sharing materials that we’ll be using which we hope will inspire you in your making and creating. The idea is to fill up the concertina with your illustrations and artwork to create a very unique Christmas card for someone special (of course, that person can be yourself!)
The session will last around 90 minutes and there will be opportunity to share your concertina cards at the end if you want to.
Make sure you have a zoom account (you can join for free) and it has been downloaded on your devices and then you can join us live on Friday.
If you can’t join live you will still be able to access the recording later once it has been uploaded. You will find it on this post at the bottom along with reference photos after the event has happened.
