Hello sketchers,
Edit: The replay is now live scroll down to view
Join me Wednesday for a special collaborative March draw-along where myself and Pauline Teunissen will be sharing wildflowers that grow in the areas we live in.
Let me introduce you to Pauline aka
She is an artist and illustrator based in the Netherlands. She runs a substack club focused on drawing botanical and animal art called Creative Cocoon and shares her knowledge of drawing plants, flowers, and animals. She works mostly with traditional art tools, like pencils, paints, and markers.

Our love of wildflowers is the perfect reason for us to team up and share the flowers that are growing in our respective areas.
As you know the theme will be Wonderful Wildflowers and is an opportunity to gather and sketch together, I’ll be sharing photos inspired by the rarer plants that grow on the Lizard peninsula and Pauline will be sharing the plants that are native to the dunes of the Netherlands.
It will also be an opportunity to take some time out to draw together and chat, sharing materials we’re enjoying using/ things we’re noticing in nature and discover more wonderful wildflowers together!
